March 16th 2011
Mime ArtistesDuring a very cold and snowy Boxing Day 2010, several hardy (aka mad) members of MEDMTG took a dip in the sub zero temperature waters of the North Sea in aid of sponsorship.
The theme of their fancy dress was 'Mime artistes' - surprising really when you consider you normally can't shut them up!
They were judged best Fancy Dress 'dippers' by the Sunderland Echo and todinght were presented with an award at a presentation night - pictured below are members of the group being presented with the cup.

It's a Knockout - Peterlee Carnival
Sept 4th 2010
Members from MEDMTG came a creditible 6th in an "It's a Knockout" event at Peterlee Carnival - OK there were only six teams taking place BUT be were the most consistent team in the competition - no other team came last in every event. Despite our lack of prowess in clambering over soapy wet bouncy castles all team members thoroughly enjoyed themselves (and hopefully raised the profile of the society) - honestly we perform better on stage than on bouncy castle's!Pictured below is a team photo showing off our 'booby prize' wooden spoons!
