How we party and generally let our hair down
The group has social and fundraising events throught the year primarily because we like to enjoy ourselves but on a more serious note because of ever increasing costs of putting on a production.
Our latest fundraising event took place on Boxing day when several (foolhardy) members donned silly costumes and braved a dip into the North Sea at Seaburn to raise funds through sponsorship for the society. This was no easy option in one of the coldest winters on record with snow on the ground and freezing cold water, nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves (honestly!!) We are hoping to have somewhat warmer fundraising events in the future and many more events are in the pipeline. A full list will be included here in the near future.
